Aim of VERT - Zielvorstellung des VERT-VereinsIn the interest of both, industry and the public, the VERT- association is aiming for methodic reasoning in public affairs in particular with regard to diesel soot elimination: For instance, consider Low Emission Zones in the EU:There are bodies of legal authority to set the rules locally and any vehicle entering that zone has to comply. However, if a vehicle complies to recognised stricter rules, it should be permitted to enter, testing according to local rules should be waived. Further, superhighways-toll (Autobahn-Maut): if a EURO3 HDV fitted with a DPF yields exhaust better than EURO5, why should it upgraded only to EURO4 in the toll structure?
